The Greatest Woman I've Ever Known Went to Heaven

First of all, please accept my sincere apologies for not sending out a newsletter for so many months. I appreciate your kindness and patience, and I'm now able to tell you the reason for my neglect.

As most of you know, my husband and I went back to the US last year for several months furlough. We were looking forward to visiting some of our supporting churches, having a few new meetings, and most of all, spending time with our family. The trip did not turn out at all as I had hoped.

When I arrived in the US, I learned that my dear mother, Margaret York, was having what we at first hoped were minor health issues. I won't go into all the details, but she had ups and downs before we eventually realized that something more serious was going on.

We finally learned that she had cancer in several places and the doctors only gave her a few months to live.

It was my joy and my heartache to be with her and care for her for the last few months before the Lord decided to take her to be with Him on January 25, 2010.

My darling mother truly was/is the greatest woman I've ever known. She was a Godly woman, a faithful wife, the most loving mother and my very dearest friend. I don't really know how I'm going to manage without her from now until I see her again.

I think I'm still kind of in a state of shock. The Lord has blessed me so much in my life. I found it difficult to believe He would really take my precious mother away from me when she was my dearest friend and still so young.

That sounds funny, I'm sure. I've known close friends who have suffered tragic losses over the years, while I've seemed to lead a rather charmed life. Why shouldn't I suffer too?

My challenge now is to grieve honorably, and to allow the Lord to use my heartache to draw me closer to Him and be used of Him to be a help to others in their times of sorrow.

Blessings in times of Sorrow

In spite of my sorrow and grief, I am aware of still aware of the Goodness and Blessings of the Lord in my life.

  1. God knew how important it would be to me to have that time with my sweet mother. He scheduled her departure to coordinate with my visit to the United States for furlough. I thank Him for that.

  2. I have the comfort, peace, and assurance of knowing that my mom is enjoying the presence of the Lord and that I'll see her again one day. She's the one who told me all those years ago how I could know that I would go to heaven for sure. It's a little easier to say good-bye to my dear mother, when I know it is only a temporary parting. I thank Him for that.

  3. The Lord also provided me with additional finances to help pay for medical expenses and natural therapies that my mom wanted to try in her fight against her illness and disease. Believe it or not, the income came from my websites! :)

During the 10 months I spent overseas, I didn't have much time to devote to my websites. In spite of that, my income generated from my sites doubled. Yes, this is partially due to the groundwork and efforts I put in previously, but I have no doubt that the Lord also blessed my efforts to meet my needs and the needs of my family. I thank Him for that.

For several months now, my websites have been generating over $2000 per month. That may not seem like much money to some, but it's a huge amount to us. I originally hoped to earn a couple hundred dollars extra per month to buy gifts for the family, but it has become so much more.

Since I've learned that SiteBuildIt really works to help you build an online income, I can't help but tell my family and friends about it and encourage them to give it a try.

In the last few months my niece, my sister, my cousin, and a few of my friends have all started to build their own SBI sites.

You can too! In fact, there's a Spring Sale going on right now (only until March 28). I can highly recommend that you take advantage of the opportunity of getting SiteBuildIt at a discounted price. The special sale offers 2 site building packages for $399. That's a $200 savings! You can share one with a friend or family member or save the second site package for yourself (I've got 4 sites!). :)

Take a look at it and see if you'd like to give it a try. I've loved learning and building my sites. I'll be happy to try to answer any questions you may have. Just let me know.

Thank you again for your patience in waiting for this issue of Simply Angie. I'll make a real effort to be more faithful in writing to you in the future.
